Please find attached a copy of the Barnsley Health and Wellbeing Board’s Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) 2025-2028 for consultation.

Barnsley PNA 2025 – Consultation draft

A PNA is a formal evaluation of the current and future pharmaceutical needs of a local population.

As you may know, the Barnsley Health and Wellbeing Board is under a statutory obligation to draft, consult upon, and publish a PNA assessment by 1st October 2025, in accordance with the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013.

We would appreciate your feedback on the draft PNA document.

The statutory 60-day consultation period will run from Monday 23rd June to Friday 22nd August 2025.
