Joanne Lane

With over 25 years in the pharmacy profession, having graduated from the University of Nottingham, I have worked in community pharmacy and a variety of NHS organisations, always focused on improving care and supporting pharmacy teams to thrive.

Before stepping into this role, I was the North East and Yorkshire regional manager for CPPE and Chair of Community Pharmacy Humber.   I am passionate about developing people and making sure pharmacy teams have the tools and confidence to provide excellent care in their communities.

I am known for my collaborative approach and demonstrating real drive to make a difference. I completed a master’s in healthcare leadership and bring together clinical expertise, strategic thinking, and a genuine love for pharmacy.

As CEO, my focus is on building strong relationships, championing the vital role of community pharmacy in local healthcare, and making sure pharmacy contractors across South Yorkshire feel supported and heard. I am excited to work closely with the amazing pharmacy teams across the region and help shape a bright, sustainable future for community pharmacy.
