SY Pharmacy Connect – Community Pharmacy WhatsApp Group

Purpose

This group is intended for professional use only and is used to share news, events, key updates, reminders, and to provide a supportive space for members to ask questions, share insights, and exchange experiences.

This group does not replace official CPSY/NHS communication channels.

Group Admins

All CPSY Executive and Committee Members are administrators of this group. We will aim to respond to queries during normal working hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm).Outside of these hours, please be mindful that responses may not be immediate. Any urgent matters should be raised through the appropriate formal channels.

Confidentiality

Please do not share any patient-identifiable information or confidential/sensitive information within this group.

Rules

Inappropriate behaviour, offensive language, rude comments, unrelated posts, spam, or advertising/promotional content (unless approved by admins) will not be tolerated and will be deleted immediately. Please do not share messages from this group externally without permission.

CPSY reserves the right to remove any member who does not follow these rules or behaves inappropriately.

Privacy Reminder

When joining this group, please be aware that your telephone number will be visible to all other group members.

Please note that if you leave the group or are removed by an administrator, your number may remain visible within the group chat history (for example, in past messages or system notifications showing that you joined or were removed).

How to Join This Group

To join the SY Pharmacy Connect WhatsApp group, please complete the Microsoft Form, providing the following details:

Your full name
Your telephone number
Your pharmacy ODS code
Consent to join the group and share your contact details

Once the form has been submitted, a member of the CPSY team will review your request and add you to the WhatsApp group.

Please note: this process may take a few days to be reviewed and actioned.
