Overview
The workshop focused on advancing the delivery of National Advanced Services under the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework. Attendees benefited from expert-led sessions that covered crucial areas such as confidence-building, hypertension, contraception, Pharmacy First, and strengthening collaboration between pharmacies and GP practices.
Harpreet Chana led an empowering session on confidence-building, while Dr. Yeyenta Osasu provided insightful strategies on hypertension case finding. Dr. Nabeel Alsindi shared valuable guidance on improving pharmacy-GP collaboration, and Shammi Khosla, alongside Vicki Roberts, delivered an engaging presentation on the Pharmacy First service, offering actionable strategies for service enhancement. Additionally, Claire Thomas conducted a session on the contraception services, equipping participants with essential knowledge to further expand their offerings in this area.
