Service Overview
This service ensures prompt access to specialist medicines, such as those used in palliative care, where demand may be urgent or unpredictable. A network of selected Barnsley pharmacies will stock an agreed range of these medicines and guarantee availability during all opening hours. The service aims to improve access, support continuity of supply, and provide up-to-date advice to patients, carers, and clinicians, including guidance on medicine use and safe disposal.
